Your cat's age, weight, neuter status, activity level, the number of cats at home, and whether you also use wet food all directly affect the result. In addition, every brand has a different energy density, so the same gram amount may not mean the same nutritional intake across two foods.
A 15 kg bag may be attractive on a price-per-kilo basis, but if it stays open for months for a single cat, aroma and freshness can decline. Smaller 1-2 kg bags may be safer when daily intake is low.
For a single cat, 1-2 kg bags are usually safer in terms of freshness. If you have two or more cats, 10 kg and 15 kg bags may make more sense. The goal is not only a lower price per kilogram, but also keeping food fresh and avoiding waste.
